Blackstone Products is a company that designs and manufactures outdoor cooking products; specializing in griddles. This was an internship that taught me how to design products in a fast pace environment while keeping the end user in mind. I gained a variety of experience here from handheld products to large furniture sized products.

GRIDDLE ESSENTIALS MEAT MASHER
BRIEF: Design a Blackstone Griddle Essentials Meat Masher for smashing ground meat, fried rice, and other griddle foods. This collection is cost-effective (Amazon Basics–style), so the product must feel elegant, bold, and brand-forward while staying restrained in cost, with a comfortable grip, durable head geometry, and easy-to-clean construction.

SOUS VIDE COOLER
BRIEF: Design a Blackstone Culinary Collection sous vide cooler with an integrated top insert for an immersion circulator and a tethered lid for easy operation and organization. It must provide strong insulation, be food-safe and easy to clean, and feel durable and outdoor-ready.
BLACKSTONE BAR
BRIEF: Design an outdoor kitchen unit luxurious outdoor counter top, yet don't have the budget or time to build a custom outdoor build in. Stand-alone unit that can accommodate a standard mini fridge (or kegerator), and a standard Blackstone Griddle.
